Growing up in Southern California, I have been fortunate to experience a lifestyle that took advantage of all the wonders our planet has to offer. A day of surfing at the beach, an afternoon of fishing off the coast, a morning jog through the mountains or a brisk walk through a picturesque countryside – These are life’s simple pleasures, gifts our planet graciously provides us everyday. It is our duty, our responsibility, to ensure that our children, our children’s children, and all the generations that follow have the opportunity to experience these treasures we so often take for granted. Let us all come together as one collective unit in an effort to sustain our planet as we know it.
