The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.
This is a movement about change, as individuals, as a country, and as a global community.

I watch the world. Even just my own small part of it. The climate changes that have taken place since I was a child. I don’t remember this much aggressive, dangerous weather. The flooding. The mudslides. The hurricanes. The droughts. The water tables drying up. Even in Atlanta. The earthquakes. The fires. All over California. Again. Yes, they’ve been happening since the beginning of time. But this much? With this frequency? I don’t remember it in my lifetime. I watch people. Even on the closest and smallest of levels. Kristian’s son dealing with asthma. Everyone’s allergies going crazy. My allergies going crazy. Pollution causes both of those. Not only in and of itself, but how it causes our plants to produce tripple the amount of pollen as their response to increased carbon dioxide. Weird. Scary. Such a small thing it seems on the surface. Such a big deal as we look closer. I watch the world. I watch people. I love both. I am afraid of the damage that is being done to both. We are worth protecting. Even if it’s from ourselves. We don’t have to be perfect. We just have to try. Let’s try. www.sugarlandmusic.com
