Join the 1,467,231 supporters of the Stop Global Warming Virtual March, and become part of the movement to demand our leaders freeze and reduce carbon dioxide emissions now. We are all contributors to global warming and we all need to be part of the solution.

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-political effort to declare that global warming is here now and it’s time to act.
This is a movement about change, as individuals, as a country, and as a global community.

Former Mayor Martin J. Chávez, Albuquerque, NM

Albuquerque is proof that you can have a sustainable outlook that is also good for business. Some years ago, we set out to clean up our air with emissions requirements, alternative fuel city fleets and conservation initiatives. At the same time, we began an ambitious water infrastructure and conservation program unmatched anywhere else in the country. Today our air is getting progressively cleaner, our urban landscape is increasingly bike and pedestrian friendly, and our economic and cultural engines have never run stronger, as top recent rankings by both Forbes and American Style magazines attest. Since Washington has so far failed to seriously act against climate change, cities are stepping up to show the world that, individual by individual, and community by community, we can change our destiny.
