I have been so fortunate to have been adopted by the city of New Orleans in my first year with the Saints, and so I have witnessed global warming’s impact from Hurricane Katrina first hand. I have seen the wreckage and destruction, but I have also seen the resilience of the people who live here, and the proud looks on their faces as they rebuild. Kids have seen their playing fields torn to pieces, so we are working together to provide these children with new green fields to play on like I was lucky enough to have. Every kid needs an environmentally friendly field to play on, pesticide-free grass to run on, and clean air to breath, and so I’m marching for the kids and for the people of New Orleans.
