We, The CodeTalkers, are most concerned about the rate of change the environment will undergo in a short period of time. Throughout human history, man has managed to adapt to the environmental changes that are normal and cyclical, but we are concerned that the aggravation caused by man’s impact (via pollution and other neglectful practices) on any number of normal environmental processes will be so abrupt as to cause our population (which is growing almost exponentially) much hardship. Just as quickly as our population grows, so too does our impact on the environment, and the time which we have to respond to those environmental concerns will be decreasing at a similar rate. Time is not on our sides, and we want to encourage everyone to learn as much as they can about what they can do on an individual basis to alleviate the strains mankind is placing on our most precious resource.
