Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
- Location: OH
- Marching Since: March 16, 2007
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has been committed to developing partnerships for field conservation programs for two decades. Planning for our newest exhibit, Polar Frontier, has brought the Zoo together with partners from within our community and beyond who are currently involved in climate change research. The process has served as a reminder of both the enormity of the problem and the important role zoos can play, not just in support of field work and capacity building within polar communities, but in the empowerment of the more than 1.5 million people that visit our facility annually and who make decisions affecting the future of the planet every day. We have committed to help stop global warming.
