At Girlawhirl Incorporated, we know we’re not perfect every day. Sometimes we have to buy the little bottle of water before yoga class. Or the mixed paper recycling container gets corrupted. But then we remember that there’s a lot that we do. We take the train a lot, and purchase carbon offsets when we fly. We carry empty bottles home from a party when we know that they’re not going to be recycled. We support organic farmers. We take a second before we hit the print button, making sure we really need a hard copy of whatever it is. We turn down our thermostats, unplug our computers and other devices that charge when they’re not in use, replace our light bulbs with compact fluorescent ones. Each week we try to incorporate another small change, and we encourage everyone we know and all of our Girlawhirl.com readers to do the same. Join us on the Virtual March!
