At LightBox, we are committed to supporting artists who are conscious of their environment, work inspired by their observations and credos. One common thread between many of our artists and those of us at LightBox is a will to help protect our muse Mother Earth from the fatal effects of global warming. We are dedicated to preserving the world’s natural resources for our children, their children, and for future generations. That is why we have decided to join the march by kicking off the first of an annual series of exhibitions called, “Eco-Lux: Art in the Light of Ecology,” on July 22, 2006. We are hopeful that we can do our part to spread ecological awareness and share ideas among the art community to help save the earth. 10% of all sales be donated to stopglobalwarming.org. We are proud to be taking steps toward making our gallery a more carbon-neutralized environment.
