Presidential Climate Action Plan (PCAP)
- Location: CO
- Marching Since: September 03, 2008
The Presidential Climate Action Project (PCAP) is a national initiative to help the 44th president jump-start federal leadership on climate change within his first 100-days in office. PCAP has issued scores of proposals on how the president can take bold steps on climate mitigation and adaptation without further action by Congress. The project’s goal is to do much of the homework the president will need for rapid action. >
PCAP has published a legal analysis of the president’s authorities; a directory of climate scientists and policy experts who could fill climate-critical federal positions; and detailed roadmaps for dramatically reducing U.S. greenhouse gas emissions in
transportation, buildings and the federal government. PCAP will publish its final action plan in October.Details can be found at www.climateactionproject.com.
We are proud to be marching.
