As a supplier of great tasting water in a more environmentally friendly bottle, Primo Water Corporation is committed to addressing the critical issue of global warming. This commitment is reflected in the very products that Primo offers. Primo’s single-serve bottles are made from a plant-based plastic instead of the typical petroleum-based plastic. Manufacturing of the Primo bottle requires 65 percent less fossil resources than a petroleum-based bottle, and the plant-based plastic contributes 80 to 90 percent less greenhouse gases to the atmosphere than traditional plastic materials. In addition, Primo operates an exchange program for its three- and five-gallon water cooler jugs. The jugs are zero waste bottles that never end up in a landfill, helping to reduce the amount of landfill methane released into the atmosphere.
