For years, artists and poets have found ways to express the beauty they find in God’s creation. It is one thing every person on the planet can appreciate. So, it is no wonder why people look at the church with disdain when the topic of the environment arises. Why wouldn’t the church be leading the charge in keeping a portrait of God’s beauty as close to pristine as possible? Why wouldn’t the church preserve it in its purest form? For it’s in nature that we oftentimes see not only the beauty but also experience the real presence of God.
