The Bruins for a Future

Bruins for a Future is a joint effort of the UCLA chapters of CALPIRG and CSSC. Apart from recognizing the need for more sustainable energy sources, ‘Bruins for a Future’ actively supports and engages in the move towards a dependence on clean energy.

As a group, we focus on spreading awareness and disseminating information regarding the rise in pollution-related illness and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as taking an active role in the solution to this problem. We are currently working to get UCLA to officially join the Campus Climate Challenge, a competition among universities across the nation to get the UC system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by the year 2050.
