Hurricane Katrina has shown us the fallacy of ignoring a disaster that we all new was inevitable. Ignoring global warming will be no less disastrous with consequences far beyond the calamity caused by a hurricane. A storm will blow ferociously and wreak havoc as it passes through and cuts a path of destruction. Global warming is no passing storm and the impact on our planet will be felt for generations to come.

We need to see Katrina as a wake up call. The consequences of THIS inevitable disaster are almost incalculable. For the sake of our children and their future on this planet let us sound the alarm and make sure it is heard by all Americans.
