While changing people’s buying habits on fashion and beauty products only represents a small portion of the overall challenge ahead of us, it typifies our core philosophy that lots of small changes go a long long way. Our objective is to help everyone become a “modern conscious consumer.” We define this person as someone who is not willing to sacrifice their overall lifestyle, that in many cases they’ve worked hard for, but is committed to do more for the planet. In other words, you don’t have to drive a Prius or you can go ahead buy your Prada bag if you must, but start turning off the water when you brush your teeth or when light bulbs burn out, replace them with CFLs or simply pick up a piece or two of litter once a week. A little goes a long long way…
